Simple Seedy Slaw

Easy Seedy Slaw is a tasty and crunchy salad made with fresh cabbage and carrots and the crunchy goodness of almonds, sesame seeds, and sunflower seeds. The creamy dressing, which has a hint of honey and Dijon mustard, makes this cool coleslaw taste great.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • 1/2 cup grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Shred the purple cabbage, shred the green cabbage, and grate the carrots into a large bowl

Put the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a different small bowl

Use a whisk to mix the ingredients well

Add the dressing to the cabbage and carrots, and then toss to coat everything

Toast the sesame seeds, add the sliced almonds, and then add the roasted sunflower seeds

Carefully mix the nuts into the slaw

Put the Simple Seedy Slaw in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve it so that the flavors can mix

Enjoy! Serve cold
